loneliness
i know for a fact that my two male betta fish are aware of each other’s presence despite the divider. male betta fish are supposed to fight each other and get angry when they see each other, but these two don’t. they’re always near each other on their respective sides of the tank. i see that loneliness can bring together two beings that aren’t meant to be. don’t let it happen to you.
